The OMEC Teleport is a USB audio interface with a difference: The new device from Orange Amplifiers is designed for live use, will fit right onto your pedalboard, and can even be powered by your regular nine-volt adapters.

The stompbox offers 16-bit, 44.1kHz/48kHz rates, with one 1/4-inch input and two 1/4-inch stereo outputs. And it’ll work with iOS, Android, PC and Mac devices without the need for any drivers or additional software. There’s even a buffered bypass switch so you can activate or deactivate the digital conversion—perfect for if you want to use your plug-ins like a typical effects pedal. But the best part? The Teleport measures just 3.6 inches tall and 1.45 inches wide.

So with the Teleport, you can go wild with signal routing. Send your converted digital signal through VSTs or AUs, then split it up between your amp and the mixing board. Convert digital audio to analog. Or experiment with sequencing your effects before or after the digital plug-ins.

And the Teleport can do all that right out of the box. It ships with IK Multimedia’s AmpliTube CS Orange Edition software, which includes emulations of the Tiny Terror, AD30 and other models from the British company.
