Reverend Guitars has collaborated with Todd Evans on a signature model, The Squatch Hammer. Modelled after the Reverend Volcano, this Flying V-style guitar is a single-pickup, metal-ready axe to match the Mobile Deathcamp player’s style.

Although Evans is a fan of the original Volcano, he wanted an instrument with heavier tones, greater sustain and faster feel. The Squatch Hammer sports a string-through korina body, a korina neck, a 12-inch-radius ebony fretboard, and a solo Railhammer bridge humbucker.

In terms of hardware and electronics, the Squatch Hammer comes with the ingredients found on most Reverends, including pin-lock tuners, treble bleed circuit and 10% pots. However, the brand’s famous bass contour knob doesn’t appear here – there’s only a single dial, which manages volume.

This signature model is available in Battleship Grey and Army Green finishes.

Retails at $1,099. More information at reverendguitars.com.
