Dave Grohl (b. 1969) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and filmmaker. He was the drummer for Nirvana before founding Foo Fighters, where he is the lead vocalist and guitarist. He has also played with Queens of the Stone Age and Them Crooked Vultures. A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Grohl has earned multiple accolades for his contributions to rock music.
