David Lee Roth (born October 10, 1954) is an American rock singer known for his dynamic stage presence. He led Van Halen during several periods: 1974-1985, 1996, and 2006-2020. Roth's music blends hard rock, and his solo career includes RIAA-certified Gold and Platinum albums. He rejoined Van Halen for a record-breaking tour in 2006 and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007.
