Jeff “Skunk” Baxter (born 1948) began his career in 1968 as a rock guitarist. He played with Steely Dan, The Doobie Brothers, and Spirit, contributing to key albums across the 1970s and 1980s. He was later inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with The Doobie Brothers.
