Robert Fripp (born 1946) began his career in 1967 as a guitarist, composer, and producer. Founder of King Crimson, he pioneered Frippertronics and contributed to 700+ releases, including work with David Bowie and Brian Eno. He was named among Rolling Stone’s 100 greatest guitarists.
