Guitarist Jennifer Batten has announced a four-day online guitar summer camp, entitled Guitar Cloud Symposium. The event will take place between 7 and 10 August 2020.

Batten will be presenting the symposium alongside Nili Brosh (Cirque du Soleil, The Iron Maidens), folk/funk crossover guitarist Vicki Genfan, and Gretchen Menn (Zepparella).

The online event has been “designed in the style of an online guitar camp,” and will offer 24 live class modules on a variety of topics, ranging from playing and practice techniques to performance psychology and creative approaches. There’ll also be Q&A sessions and virtually-hosted social events.

Batten said of the event, “I’m excited to have incredible musicians like Nili, Vicki, and Gretchen on board as presenters for the launch of GCS. It was a guitar symposium that inspired me to apply to Musicians Institute and launch my music career.

“You never know how an event like this can impact someone’s life. So now, as I present GCS, the intent is to empower other guitarists out there with the tools and inspiration they need to express themselves and achieve their goals.”
