Framus has launched the Burgundy Blackburst Transparent High Polish finish for the D-series Idolmaker guitar.

The new finish features a subtle burst across the main sweep of the body, ending in glossy back for the guitar’s two wings. The unique shape of the Framus Idolmaker debuted as a Custom Shop Masterbuilt model, also receiving an upgrade with a Teambuilt German Pro Series run. In spring 2019, due to the model’s high popularity, the Idolmaker was also made available as a D-Series model.

This D-Series Idolmaker features a mahogany body and a flamed maple top, a set mahogany neck with a tigerstripe ebony fingerboard, 22 nickel silver jumbo frets and a graphite nut. For the electronics, there’s a Seymour Duncan SH-1n in the neck and a SH-4b in the bridge, controlled by master volume and tone knobs and a 3-way pickup selector.

The guitar comes with the necessary hex key and a RockBag Student Line Plus gig bag.

The D-Series Idolmaker in Burgundy Blackburst Transparent High Polish is available now, listing for €969. More information at warwick.de.
