Cort has released the KX257B, a baritone seven-string beast that’s designed to take on modern metal styles. The guitar comes with unique appointments, including a longer scale length and snarling high-output pups.
The axe has a mahogany body and a 27-inch scale length. The former contributes to its commanding midrange tone, while the latter results in a tighter low-end response. The KX257B, coated in a Matte Black finish, also features a jatoba fingerboard with raindrop inlays.

The metal-leaning axe is loaded with a set of EMG RetroActive Super77-7st pickups, which are capable of delivering hot, articulate and piercing lines. Control-wise, the pups are wired to a volume knob, a tone knob and a three-way pickup selector.
The guitar also boasts a string-through-body hardtail bridge that caters for plenty of sustain and resonance.
