Fender unveils limited-edition Mahogany Blacktop Stratocaster
It features classic amp-style knobs and offers two pickup configurations.

Fender has pulled the curtains back on a limited-edition Mahogany Blacktop Stratocaster, available in two versions: HH and HHH.
The pickups in question are Powerful Alnico Humbuckers. These pups are wired to a five-way pickup selector, one master volume and two tone controls. As for tonewoods, the Strat features a mahogany body, C-shaped maple neck and 9.5-inch-radius pau ferro fingerboard with classic white dot inlays.
The HHH version is decked in an Olympic White finish that’s complemented by gold hardware and a black-painted headstock. The twin-humbucker model, on the other hand, sports chrome hardware and comes in two finishes: Black and Crimson Red Transparent.

The availability of this axe is unclear at press time, but signs point to a Europe-only release.
The limited-edition Mahogany Blacktop Stratocaster lists at £699 (HHH) and £659 (HH). More info at fender.com.
