Harley Benton has expanded its Agufish Signature Series with three new models – the STD Signature BK, STD Signature SFG and STD Baritone BK.

Designed in collaboration with Hunter Engel from the Agufish YouTube guitar channel, the well-loved series was launched back in 2020, though it only featured an extremely limited release at the time. With the introduction of these new models, the era of limited editions has come to an end.

All three models – two Standard and a Baritone – share several key specifications, including a body made from weight-relieved Nyatoh, for a lighter feel and easy handling without sacrificing tone. You get a carved maple top, a set-in roasted Canadian maple neck with macassar ebony fretboard and 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets.

Each guitar is also equipped with custom-wound Roswell Seraphim Alnico V/Ceramic Flanker bridge and Alnico V neck pickups that deliver everything from bright, clean tones to full-on, high-gain rock tones. Controls are pretty standard with two volume knobs, two tone knobs with push-pull function and a three-way switch.

As for hardware, all three guitars feature a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut, a WSC Tune-O-Matic bridge, and locking tuners for added tuning stability.

The standard model, which Harley Benton calls the “perfect workhorse, at home, on stage or in the studio” is available in Black Satin and Green Seaform Satin finishes, while the Baritone model — featuring a 28-inch scale length and a standard A tuning — comes in a sleek Matt Black finish.

At $455 / £422, the new Agufish Signature Series is definitely one of Harley Benton’s pricier offerings out there, albeit still very reasonable by electric guitar standards.
