Since its launch in 2017, Californian brand Orangewood Guitars has earned plaudits for its range of affordable and well-appointed acoustic guitars. The company has now introduced Highland, its first all-solid acoustic series, which targets seasoned players who want a premium-sounding instrument for under $1,000.

Highland is available in three shapes: Hudson (dreadnought), Ava (grand concert), and Sage (grand auditorium cutaway). Each guitar features a torrefied solid spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck as well as an ebony fingerboard.
