NAMM 2020: Aguilar Amplification has debuted Royal Purple as a limited-edition colour for its SL Series bass cabinets. Each Royal Purple SL Series cabinet features a custom “Limited Edition 2020” label on the crossover and comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity.

The new 2020 Royal Purple SL Series cabinets are only available in the UK in limited quantities for the SL 112, SL 115, SL 210, SL 212 and SL 410x. There are a total of 24 pieces, with eight being allocated to the SL 112 and four to the remaining cabinet models, divided between the 4- and 8-ohm versions of each.

The limited-edition Royal Range encompasses some noteworthy designs. The SL 112 features a neodymium driver with a custom-designed crossover and a phenolic tweeter with variable level control, while the 22.2kg SL 410x is only half the weight of a traditional 4×10 bass cabinet. The SL 210 was also recently voted for ‘Best Cabinet 2019’ by Bass Guitar Magazine for its tone and portability.

The 2020 Royal Purple SL Series cabinets are now available starting from £999. For more information, click here.
