DiMarzio unveils the Fantom P-90
Featuring four coils for hum-free P-90 tones.

DiMarzio has released the brand-new Fantom P-90 pickup, featuring a patent-pending design and a four-coil set-up to eliminate noisy 60-cycle hum.
The Fantom P-90’s unique hum-cancelling design allows it to retain the tone and harmonic bloom of ‘true’ P-90s but without the noise typical of single coils. The series comprises three models: the Fantom P-90 Dog Ear (DP278D), Fantom P-90 Soapbar (DP278S) and the Fantom P-90 with full-size humbucker cover (DP279).
All Fantom P-90s come with neodymium magnets wound to 13.77 kOhm and are designed to work in all positions. DiMarzio recommends wiring the Fantom P-90 to 500K volume and tone pots along with a .022uF tone capacitor for optimal results.
