2020 Dimebag Darrell tribute event to feature Dave Grohl, Corey Taylor and more
Dimebash honours Pantera’s late guitarist ‘Dimebag’ Darrell Abbott.

An all-star jam tribute to the late ‘Dimebag’ Darrell Abbott, Dimebash, has been announced for 16 January, 2020. It will take place at The Observatory OC in Santa Ana, California.
Artists like Dave Grohl and Corey Taylor will perform Dimebag’s music and some of his favourite songs in memory of the late Pantera and Damageplan guitarist. Other special guests include Anthrax’s Scott Ian and Charlie Benante, Slayer’s Dave Lombardo and longtime Pantera bassist Rex Brown. A full list of musical guests will be announced in January.
Dimebash will serve as the unofficial kick-off for Winter NAMM 2020 and will be hosted by SiriusXM media personality Jose Mangin. The all-ages event will open with a performance by Texas band Whiskeydick. Raffle prizes will be up for grabs throughout the night, with proceeds from the event going towards supporting music education and animal rescue organisations.
