Abasi Concepts – the guitar brand helmed by Animals As Leaders guitarist Tosin Abasi – has launched the Larada Legion electric guitar models, a more affordable take on its Larada guitars.

In addition to a Charcoal Burl model (pictured above) are three special variants limited to 25 units each: the poplar-topped Aquaburst; Blue Sage, and Overcast. The guitars also comes in either a seven- or eight-string configuration.

The Abasi Concepts Larada Legion models feature the ergonomic build signature to the brand. In each, there’s a light basswood body, a thin C-shaped wenge neck, an ebony fingerboard with multi-scale fanned frets, and pearloid inlays.

For electronics, players get control over a duo of powered Fishman Fluence Tosin Abasi humbuckers, which route to a simple push-pull volume control, as well as a five-way pickup selector.

Onboard, there are also Abasi locking tuners, a set of individual string bridge saddles, and a dual-action truss rod with spoke wheel for making neck adjustments without any specialist tools.

The Abasi Concepts Larada Legion models start at $1,799 and come with their own hardshell case.
