Dean Guitars has returned with new Vengeance and Zero electric guitar models as part of its Select series. These models add player-requested features such as stainless steel frets, glow-in-the-dark side dot markers and Fishman Fluence Modern active humbuckers.

The Vengeance and Zero models are mahogany-bodied guitars that come in three different finishes: Black Satin, Charcoal Burst and Black Cherry Burst. These differ in top wood and choice of bridge.

The Black Satin models feature a string-through design with a TonePros Tune-O-Matic bridge, while the Burst models feature flame maple tops and Floyd Rose 1000 and Evertune vibratos, respectively.

All models also have a three-piece maple neck with a C-shaped profile; ebony fingerboard with 24 stainless steel frets, glow-in-the-dark side markers and a 25.5 inch scale length.

They also equip a pair of Fishman Fluence Modern active humbuckers. The Black Satin models in particular sport a simplified control section, with just a single volume control. Meanwhile, the bursts offer two volume knobs and a tone control each.

Pricing and availability are still to be confirmed.
