Fender launches Albert Hammond Jr signature Strat

It features a classic 70s-style headstock and bullet truss rod nut.

Fender has officially released the Albert Hammond Jr Stratocaster, which was announced at Summer NAMM this year.

The signature model, created in collaboration with the Strokes guitarist, is inspired by his very own 1985 reissue of a ’72 Strat. It even features Hammond’s unique pup switching system: position one and three are reversed, and position four activates both neck and bridge single-coils. Other vintage-leaning appointments include a ’70s-style large headstock and logo, bullet truss rod nut and three-bolt “F”-stamped neck plate with period-accurate Micro-Tilt.

The Albert Hammond Jr Stratocaster also features an alder body dipped in a gloss polyester finish, a maple modern C-shaped neck with rosewood fingerboard, and custom ceramic single-coil Stratocaster pickups.
