For guitarists who travel regularly with both an acoustic and electric in tow, there’s a new gig bag specially designed for your needs: the Urban Double Electric And Acoustic. It stores up to two instruments and boasts features that will keep your gear safe while on the road.

Here are the details:

Internal protection

Inside the gig bag is a network of cushion-like features designed to prevent internal damage. This includes a 20mm-thick, high-density padded foam shell, inner linings formulated from soft velvet-mix material, as well as a removable padded collar.

The collar, according to Fusion, “can be moulded around the guitar’s body” to restrict instrument movement. This feature can also be removed to make room for bigger guitars, with protection still guaranteed, Fusion claims.

The bag also boasts Fusion’s Internal Suspension System that offers adjustable neck and head support. This system allows both instrument headstocks to “float”, thus reducing the risk of damage caused by external impact.

External protection

The gig bag’s outer casing is formulated around a non-PVC-backed material that’s intended to be both rip-proof and water-resistant. Other outer features include rubberised headstock and base areas, the latter of which is designed to absorb drop impact. And to increase visibility, the Urban Double gig bag has been suited with reflective panels.

Road-ready features

Thanks to backpack-style padded shoulder straps and a rugged rubber handle, the Urban Double gig bag can be comfortably carried. It also has plenty of storage space – in the form of pockets and compartments – for your accessories.

Retails at £196.96. More info at fusion-bags.com.
