Gibson has recently unveiled the Les Paul Dark Knight, a limited-edition release to celebrate Black Friday.

Making its debut at Guitar Center, the Les Paul Dark Knight sports a quilted maple top covered in a translucent smoke-black satin finish. Featuring a weight-relieved mahogany body and a solid satin-finished mahogany neck, this LP also comes loaded with Gibson ’57 Classic and ’57 Classic Plus humbuckers, a Nashville-style tune-o-matic bridge and locking Grover tuners.

The guitar’s ebony fingerboard sports an asymmetric compound radius for ease-of-play and comes with 22 medium-sized frets for easy string bends. Meanwhile, a Graphtech nut combines with the locking tuners for improved tuning stability.

Matte-black hardware completes the blacked out aesthetic of the Dark Knight Les Paul, while push-pull split-coil and phase options enhance its versatility.

Fender is another brand that announced a Black Friday release debuting at Guitar Center. The titan unveiled two new Stratocaster HSS and Telecaster models, both sporting quilted maple tops and pale moon fingerboards.

Available now for $2,999 with a hard case. Click here for more information.
