G&L launches the Fallout Short Scale Bass
Great for those who want a light, on-the-go bass or are used to smaller instruments.

G&L has launched the Fallout Short Scale bass, a bass version of its Fallout offset guitars.
The bass features a single G&L humbucker in the middle position, however a three-way toggle switch does allow it to be split for single-coil tones. Alongside this, a master volume and tone control allow for extra shaping of your sound.
The scale length of this bass is 30”, as opposed to the normal 34” for a bass guitar. This means this could be a great axe for beginners, or just a more compact, easy-to-play workhorse for any bassist.
The alder body comes finished in either British Racing Green, Racing Yellow, or Miami blue – all with a black stripe design. The fretboard is Carribean rosewood, featuring 19 frets and dot inlays. The bass comes with La Bella short scale strings as standard, so there’s no loss of tension despite the smaller distance between the bridge and the nut.
