Harley Benton has launched a new electric model, the ST Travel.

The guitar sports a full-sized C-shaped maple neck with a maple, 22-fret fingerboard, bolted onto a basswood body which, saving a considerable amount of size and weight, follows the shape of the S-type pickguard. To save extra space, the angled output jack is situated on the back of the guitar, as are both of its strap buttons. The neck join features a mild bevel to make access to the guitar’s upper frets easier.

There are also three single-coil pickups, as well as a master volume, two tone controls and a five-way blade switch.

Completing a 25.5-inch scale length is a six-saddle two-pivot tremolo bridge, which – saving even more wood – hangs off the back of the guitar’s body.

The ST Travel, which comes with a gig bag, lists for a minuscule £71. Order via thomman.de, and find out more at harleybenton.com.
