PRS Guitars Europe has launched the limited-run CE 24 Standard Satin, exclusive to European markets. These electric guitar models come in five distinct satin nitro finishes that give them a classic look.

The PRS CE 24 Standard Satin features an all-mahogany body, paired to a maple neck that features an East Indian rosewood fretboard with 24 frets and classic bird inlays. This guitar has a scale length of 24-inches. Both the body and neck are finished in a thin layer of satin nitro, lending to an “addictively playable” neck with an emphasis on resonance and sharp clarity.

As for its electronics, the guitar pairs the warmth of its mahogany tonewood with a set of PRS 85/15 humbuckers, designed by Paul Reed Smith with a focus on clarity, and for an extended high and low end response. These can be controlled with a master volume pot, a tone knob that doubles as a push-pull control for coil splitting and a three-way pickup selector.

The guitar’s hardware appointments are in-house designed as well, with a set of PRS locking tuners and a PRS designed tremolo system.

The PRS CE 24 Standard Satin is limited to just 125 models, and comes in charcoal, McCarty tobacco sunburst, vintage cherry, vintage mahogany and antique white. They list for £1499/€1749.
