Watch: An electric guitar made from 1,200 coloured pencils

Last month, YouTuber Burls Art made waves with a video of a Strat-style electric guitar he had created from 1,200 coloured pencils. He’s back at it again, this time opting for the same “tonewood”, but a Telecaster-like shape and gradient colour scheme instead.

Unfortunately, the YouTube luthier isn’t open to commissions or sales at the moment. He shares that he’s only “building these as art” and that they take a long time to build. You can watch the meticulous construction process and demo of the guitar in the video above.
