Laney gives the Ironheart IRT15H amp head a makeover

With a brand-new wooden cabinet finished in Basketweave Tolex, the IRT15H has never looked tougher.

Laney has given its popular Ironheart IRT15H a “sexy new look” that borrows from its bigger siblings in the range.

While the original models of the 15-watt, EL84-powered amp head were housed in a metal chassis, the updated units boast hardy Tolex covers, a sleeker silhouette and a devilish new logo. Besides those, the IRT15H is pretty much the same. The tubes still peek out from behind jet-black grilles, and a crimson light floods the interior when you power up the amp.

The Laney IRT15H is designed to create excellent tube-driven tones, and is suitable for aggressive, high-gain riff works for the metalheads. A foot-switchable pre-boost, three-band equalizer, dynamics control and digital reverb round up its feature set.
