Ian MacKaye’s newly formed musical trio, Coriky – with Evens’ drummer Amy Farina and Fugazi bassist Joe Lally – has released a new single, entitled Too Many Husbands. Take a listen below.

Too Many Husbands follows Clean Kill as the second single from the band’s forthcoming self-titled LP. The record, which will release under MacKaye’s own Dischord Records, was intentionally delayed earlier this month as a show of solidarity with independent music stores and distributors who’ve shut down due to COVID-19.

A news post from Dischord Records’ website from 13 April wrote: “We realise that there are many people who have been waiting for the records they ordered and we very much appreciate their patience.”

“The decision to further postpone the record was made in solidarity with the shuttered shops and distributors and with the hope that the independent music network will survive.”

Earlier this month, Dischord Records made its entire 40-year back catalogue free to stream on Bandcamp – featuring notable early demos from seminal hardcore groups Fugazi and Rites Of Spring, along with a remastered LP from Scream, which features a pre-Nirvana Dave Grohl on drums.
