Twenty-five years have passed since Jeff Buckley dropped his seminal studio album, Grace. And to honour the anniversary of the late singer’s masterpiece, Columbia/Legacy Recordings has released a previously unseen video of Buckley performing Mojo Pin.

The performance, part of a 1994 solo set at the Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland, saw Buckley match his emotional vocals with expressive playing on his famed Telecaster. At this particular concert, Buckley had also previewed a string of Grace tracks before the album was officially released five months thereafter.

This archival footage isn’t the only 25th-anniversary tribute to Grace. Jeff Buckley’s estate announced last week that a digital reissue of Grace and a digital expansion of the late singer-songwriter’s catalogue is set for release on 23 August.

Highlights include a bonus track of Strawberry Street – which Buckley penned in the late-80s – as well as a demo of Sky Blue Skin, one of the last songs the singer recorded before his passing in 1997.

Watch the heartfelt performance above.
