The Music of Cream announce 2020 ‘Disraeli Gears’ tour

The Music of Cream have announced a 2020 tour, on which they will perform the hit Cream album Disraeli Gears in full, as well as some additional Cream, Blind Faith and Eric Clapton cuts. The Music of Cream consists of Kofi Baker (Ginger Baker’s son), Malcolm Bruce (Jack Bruce’s son) and Will Johns (Eric Clapton’s nephew). The tour will feature footage of the trio’s musical mentors, alongside the performances from the group.

Disraeli Gears, released in 1967, was a landmark release for the band showcasing their signature songwriting style and musicality. It was a breakthrough hit for the band, and going platinum in the US and finding itself on countless ‘greatest album of all time’ lists.

The Music of Cream first hit the road with their 50th anniversary tour in 2017, and are currently completing a run of UK dates. The newly-annoucned 2020 leg of their tour will begin in Victoria, British Columbia on 28 February and end in Glenside, Pennsylvania, on 10 April.
