Post Malone has challenged producer Andrew Watt to an Instagram guitar battle by covering a section of the Eric Johnson instrumental, Cliffs Of Dover. Take a look below.

Watt, who produced the rapper’s 2019 studio record Hollywood’s Bleeding, as well as Ozzy Osbourne’s Ordinary Man from this year, accepted the challenge and responded with his own video, captioned: “U ain’t shit @postmalone”.

Earlier this year (24 April), Post Malone gave an hour-long livestreamed performance, which consisted entirely of Nirvana covers. The set was in aid of the United Nation’s Coronavirus relief response, and ended up raising over $4 million dollars. For the performance, Post Malone was joined by Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.

Courtney Love praised Malone for the set in an Instagram post, also thanking her late husband for his songwriting. “Thank you mighty kc for writing these songs with your elegant and monkeyed hands that the kids still want to sing and play and hear and use to fight and hunt and cure and heal and eradicate this fucking COVID-19 virus” she wrote. “I approve the usage. Good luck Mr Malone.”
