Over the last month, The Smashing Pumpkins released a pair of singles titled Cyr and The Colour Of Love and announced CYR, their 11th studio album set to arrive 27 November through Sumerian Records. Today they’ve released two new singles from the album – Confessions Of A Dopamine Addict and Wrath, which you can take a listen to below.

The 20-track full-length double album was produced by frontman Billy Corgan and recorded in Chicago, and features founding members Billy Corgan, James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin, and guitarist Jeff Schroeder.

It will be the Pumpkins’ first double album since their acclaimed Melon Collie And the Infinite Sadness from 1995. The band’s last studio release was 2018’s Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun.

In tandem with their latest album, a five-part animated series entitled In Ashes will be launched. The series – written by Corgan, and featuring music from CYR – was animated by Portland-based creative studio Deep Sky. The first two episodes will launch 25 September.

In addition to a digital release, CYR will be launched in several different vinyl and CD editions. The deluxe box set includes two records in an exclusive Black Ice colour, a 24-page lyric booklet, poster, iridescent foil-embossed art inserts and more.
