Rock band Weezer have announced a collaboration with the brand iRobot, manufacturer of the Roomba robot vacuum cleaner.

The unlikely collaboration means that five lucky Weezer fans are in for a chance of winning a “Wroomba,” a Weezer-themed Roomba i7 robot vacuum cleaner. Decked out with a custom top designed to look like a CD, underneath the Weezer theming the hoover is indeed capable of all of the things a regular Roomba can do. Whether the whining noise it emits is more or less annoying than any given Weezer album is down to your personal tastes.

Unlike any Weezer album, however, the i7 comes with a premium three-stage cleaning system with dual multi-surface rubber brushes. It also sports automatic dirt disposal and connectivity to the iRobot Home app.

Entry is free, however is limited to the United States. The i7 is worth around $1,000.

Weezer announced the collaboration on Twitter, posting a short demo of the skinned Roomba. “Studies show that 9/10 humans have dreamed of Weezer cleaning their house, but it simply wasn’t possible until now,” the video states. MyNameisJonas1994 gives a glowing review: “Like having Weezer clean your home, but it actually gets clean.”

The Roomba follows Weeezer’s 14th album, OK Human, which was released in January of this year. The record features a baroque pop sound, with a 38-piece orchestra playing alongside the band.
