NAMM 2019: Aguilar Amplification announces the SL 115 bass cab

This lightweight, versatile unit can handle up to 400 watts of power.

Aguilar Amplification has added the SL 115 bass cabinet to its popular SL line.

This cab clocks in at 15.4kg and measures about 50 x 56 x 39cm. Yet despite its light weight and compact size, the SL 115 is designed for versatility. It can be deployed on its own or stacked with larger cabinets, like the SL 410x. And with a frequency response band of 35Hz to 4kHz, it’s capable of reproducing deep lows, an articulate midrange and a smooth high-end, Aguilar claims.

The cab features a custom-voiced woofer with Neodymium magnets, and is equipped to handle either four or eight ohms of impedance and 400 watts RMS. For I/Os, you’ll find one Neutrik Speakon output and two 1/4-inch inputs on the back panel.

Retails at $999. More information at aguilaramp.com.
