The Katana GO is Boss’s latest entry into the headphone amp game. Physically it’s very similar to the current king, the Fender Mustang Micro – dwn to the big volume control and the adjustable jack socket, which means it should work with any guitar.

However, unlike the Mustang you’re not limited to a few onboard sounds – you can choose from 10 amps and 60 effects, and save up to 30 user presets. What’s more there’s also a ‘Stage Feel’ control, which makes it feel more like you’re playing live and not through headphones.

It also acts as a USB-C recording interface, has a built-in tuner, and and even has a cute little case? Is this the ultimate on the go amp?
