Geezer Butler is an English bassist and songwriter, founding member of Black Sabbath (1968) and a pioneer of heavy metal music. He's currently signed to BMG Records, released key albums like Paranoid (1970) and Heaven & Hell (1980). His latest album, Ohmwork, was released in 2005. He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (2006) and received the Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music (2010).
