Matthew Ryan Hoopes, active since 1998, is the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of rock band Relient K. Known for his pop-punk and alternative rock style, he co-founded Relient K and has been a constant member since its inception. Hoopes also manages the label Mono vs Stereo and founded the guitar pedal brand 1981 Inventions.
