Electro-Harmonix has added a dedicated pedal tuner to its extensive range of effects pedals with the EHX-2020 Chromatic Tuner Pedal.

The EHX-2020 has a calibration range of 436 – 445 Hz in one-hertz steps. The tuner pedal has an accuracy of  +/- one cent and can also be set to one of three flat tuning modes: half-step, full step or minor third. For live performances, engaging the EHX-2020 mutes the guitar’s signal which allows for silent tuning. The true-bypass switching also means zero colouration of the guitar’s tone when the EHX-2020 is bypassed.

Large, easy-to-read LED displays give the EHX-2020 at-glance legibility, even in low-light situations. An ultra-compact footprint also means that there’s little worry about the pedal taking up too much pedalboard real estate.
