Ernie Ball Music Man has unveiled the Ball Family Reserve collection for March 2021, including some new limited-edition versions of John Petrucci, Albert Lee and Steve Lukather’s signature models, and a new finish for its Sabre guitar

This guitar’s natural-finished okoume body comes with a maple veneer and rosewood top, as well as a fully rosewood bolt-on neck. It’s loaded with DiMarzio Illuminator pickups, as well as a piezo pickup in the bridge.

Sabre

This guitar, comes finished in Coral Blue Burst, a transparent burst finish that shows off its flamed maple top. The guitar also features a full rosewood neck and fretboard, and two chrome-finished Music Man humbuckers.

Luke III

Luke III

This version of Toto guitarist Steve Lukather’s signature comes with a custom Black Sparkle finish, complemented by black block inlays in the roasted maple neck. Other features include an alnico Music Man humbucker in the bridge and ceramic Music Man humbucker in the neck, and a dual-locking Floyd Rose vibrato.

Albert Lee

This quirkily-shaped double-cut has a custom Seafoam Sparkle finish, offering heaps of visual interested and accentuated by a figured maple neck, with no position inlays on the front for a truly unique look. Electronics include a DiMarzio humbucker paired with two Music Man single coils in an HSS layout, as well as a five-way switch, master volume and tone.
