Eventide has unveiled its new PowerMINI, PowerMINI EXP and PowerMAX rev 2 pedalboard power supplies, the brand’s latest collaboration with the Danish manufacturer Cioks.

Firstly, the diminutive PowerMINI is a fully isolated supply focused on compact portability. It weighs only 226 grams, and is only 2.5cm tall, so should easily slot into small ‘board assemblies. Or, if you prefer to use spaceship-esque mammoth rigs, it can be used as an expansion for the PowerMAX power supply. The PowerMINI offers two 9V/660mA jacks, with two more switchable between 9, 12, 15 and 18 volts, again offering 660mA – more than enough for even digital pedals.

The PowerMINI EXP is the same as the PowerMINI, but does not have the inline external AC adaptor, but does come with the required link cable to connect to a PowerMAX.

Also new is rev 2 of the PowerMAX, which delivers 42W of power and is capable of powering up to seven high-current pedals via three outputs of 9VDC/660mA and four outputs switchable to 9, 12, 15 or 18VDC at up to 660mA. Other power connections include a 24VDC AUX output for a PowerMINI expander and a USB output to charge a smartphone or tablet.

The PowerMINI lists for $129, the PowerMINI EXP for $109 and the PowerMAX rev 2 for $209. Find out more at eventideaudio.com.
