Texas-based effects manufacturer Jackson Audio has announced a brand-new signature stompbox for the slide guitar meastro Joey Landreth. The Golden Boy overdrive, created in collaboration with Landreth, is a King Of Tone-style circuit that’s been tweaked to the Canadian’s tastes.

Featuring the same enclosure and build as the company’s revered Broken Arrow, it includes an update circuit that swaps out the Broken Arrow’s TS808-style chip for something more akin to a Bluesbraker. From a sweet hum to all out chugging gain, this pedal’s versatility is its secret weapon.

There’s just 500 available of this limited-edition pedal, so be quick, and each item will be hand-signed by Joey Landreth himself. The Golden Boy is exclusive to Reverb.com.

According to Jackson Audio, the features include:

  • Transparent overdrive via the Bluesbreaker/KOT circuit
  • 4X overdrive clipping diode options
  • 4-position gain cycle function
  • 3-band active EQ
  • Independently switchable mosfet boost with 4 EQ settings
