NAMM 2024: KMA Machines has unveiled the Endgame, a multi-functional pedal it’s touting as its “most ambitious device yet”.
Designed to work at the end of an effects chain, the Endgame was designed with convenience in mind; KMA has truly went to town on the tech, packing in an alluring number of features. For example, there’s a Stereo FX Loop, DUAL IR Cab and Tube-Power Amp Simulation, as well as KMA’s True Double-Tracker (TDT).
The pedal looks a little intimidating upon first glance, but KMA has ensure its plethora of features is simple and intuitive to operate. Two main footswitches control the Doubler and FX Loop respectively, while the Doubler switch also has a TDT Width knob above it, allowing users to widen the doubling effect.
The second knob serves as the dual cabinet impulse response loader, allowing the pedal to simulate a tube power amp. The knob has three modes (6L6, EL34, and KT88), as well as 3 Celestion digital-powered presets and two user slots. There is also Ambience Control to adjust the virtual room size.
In terms of connectivity, the Endgame offers an auxiliary input (3.5 mm and Bluetooth), and extensive routing options. There’s also stereo balanced outputs, dual headphone outs and variable level control. There’s also a USB-C port included for software updates and for users to load up their unique IRs.
