Watch: Third Led Zeppelin ‘History’ episode recaps band’s 1968 US tour

Episode three of the History Of Led Zeppelin YouTube series has landed, taking us back to December 1968, when the legends kicked off their first US tour.

Soundtracked by Dazed And Confused, the clip offers info-nuggets about the ’68 tour, including the monster blizzard the band’s hurtled through as they drove to the airport as well as details on the first LP copies of Led Zeppelin.

History Of Led Zeppelin is a YouTube series released in celebration of the band’s 50th anniversary. Episode one centres on the recording of Led Zeppelin at Olympic Studios, while episode two documents the group’s all-important name change from ‘The New Yardbirds’ to ‘Lead Zeppelin’.
