NAMM 2019: Morley introduces Mini Classic Switchless Wah
A smaller, wallet-friendly version of Morley’s Classic Wah.
Morley has unveiled the Mini Classic Switchless Wah, a smaller sibling to the brand’s original Classic Wah. This diminutive device packs the same circuitry – almost – as its predecessor, but adds switchless activation and comes at an entry-level price point.
With its compact form, this mini wah fits into crowded pedalboards and comfortably slots into gig bag compartments. It features a switchless system, so just step on for activation, and step off for bypass. The device is also equipped with Morley’s new custom MQ2 Inductor and True Tone buffer circuit that prevent tone suck and signal loading.
Additionally, the wah pedal employs an electro-optical design instead of a potentiometer, which often wears out and scratches easily. Rounding out its features are glow-in-the-dark heel and treadle logos, a bright red LED indicator, as well as an accessible Quick Clip battery door.
