Back at Winter NAMM 2019, Source Audio unveiled the Spectrum Intelligent Filter, what the brand claims to be the “most powerful stereo filter effect pedal ever created”. Now, Source Audio has released a video to shed more light on the pedal.

Included in this little purple box is a plethora of effects. It has six envelope filter presets, which range from Mu-Tron- and Lovetone Meatball-inspired presets to contemporary favourites that offer distorted octave, phaser and synth-like sounds. The demo above will give you a better idea of the pedal’s range.

Other features of the Spectrum Intelligent Filter include 128 MIDI-accessible presets, and an easy-to-use four-knob control system. The latter allows you to adjust up to eight parameters via an ALT (alternate) switch.

Rounding things out on this intriguing stomper is the Neuro Editing Software. If the four-knob-control system doesn’t provide the level of control you desire, this software should. Available on mobile (iOS and Android) and desktop (Mac and PC), it arms you with tools for deeper tweaking as well as a library of presets created by Source Audio and the Spectrum Intelligent Filter Neuro community.

Retails at $199. More info at sourceaudio.net.
