NAMM 2020: Korg has announced the new OD-S Overdrive kit via its sub-brand Nu:Tekt, introducing a build-it-yourself effects pedal kit that uses a solder-less design and is powered by Korg’s Nutube technology.

The OD-S Overdrive uses a mod-friendly circuit board layout that allows budding modders to explore their creativity. In its stock form, the pedal’s front panel features four knobs: volume, tone and two gain knobs. The first gain knob controls the gain of the 6P1 Nutube while the other adjusts the input volume. There is also a switch to toggle between low- and high-gain modes.

The Nu:Tekt OD-S Overdrive uses true-bypass switching and can be powered either by a 9V alkaline battery or a 9V DC wall adapter.
