Eric Johnson has shared his latest mini guitar lesson, in aid of food banks that have been badly affected by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Take a look above at the lesson.
The ‘Mini Lesson’ this time dives into vibrato and stretching , and how to use the two to imbue your playing with more personality.
Johnson explains, saying ‘If I were to some kind of lick – I could also stretch into certain notes, where I take the half note before, or the full note before … and just create more of a personality.”
When he debuted the series late last month, Johnson noted the goal of the series wasn’t just to teach, but also raise some money for the hard-hit food banks during the pandemic, hoping that anybody “that gets something from these lessons would contribute a little bit to their neighborhood food bank, whatever you’ve got – a dollar, ten dollars, whatever.”
He urged USA viewers to donate to Feeding America, and worldwide viewers to donate to Action Against Hunger.
