Last month, Joe Bonamassa announced his Fueling Musicians Program, aiming to provide immediate cash payments of $1,000, as well as pre-paid cards of $500 for fuel – as soon as it is safe for tours to take place again – to musicians in need. Now, he’s given a tour of his vintage Fender guitars in a bid to raise money for the initiative.

Bonamassa teamed up with Fender Premium Audio and Volkswagen of America for the tour and performance, hosted on Volkswaken’s Facebook page. Proceeds from the stream raised funds for the Fueling Musicians Program.

Bonamassa said of the project: “My sincerest thanks and gratitude to both Volkswagen and Fender Premium Audio for their generous support of our Fueling Musicians Program. Musicians have a tough road ahead and this will help them regroup until they can head out on the road again when everyone gets the green light.”
