King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have announced two US dates for April and May next year. The band dropped the details in a Facebook post:

The Australian psych-rockers will play for a mammoth three hours on the dates – justified by the hefty length of their back-catalogue. Despite their first full-length release coming out in 2012, they have to date released 15 albums – five of these in 2017. The most recent of these, Infest the Rats’ Nest came out earlier this year. True to the band’s genre-hopping approach, it was the group’s take on early thrash metal, in stark contrast to their first release of 2019 Fishing for Fishies – a synth-infused boogie rock album.

Support for the gigs is yet to be announced, but given the length of the set, it’s possible the gig will have a solo bill. Tickets go on sale on Thursday 14 November.
