The 40th Anniversary Jazzmaster features gold-plated hardware, a gold anodised aluminium pickguard, and a bound Indian laurel fingerboard. It includes Fender-Designed single-coil pickups with alnico 5 magnets, a slim "C"-shaped neck profile, vintage-style tuning machines and a 6-saddle floating bridge with tremolo.
