Famed for his time as the bassist and vocalist of Thin Lizzy, Phil Lynott has long been been embedded in rock ‘n’ roll folklore due to his larger than life stage presence and his signature Fender Precision Bass. His customised P-Bass features a mirrored pickguard, which became synonymous with his aesthetic.

Now painstakingly recreated by master builder John Cruz at the Fender Custom Shop, the guitar is also shipped with Lynott-inspired goodies such as a studded wristband, leather wristband and mirrored aviator sunglasses, along with a custom Anvil roadcase.

Made from a two-piece select ash body with a thin lacquer finish to enhance resonance, it also features a ’78 P-Bass split-coil pickup. Featuring a rift-sawn maple neck with an oil finish, the round-lam rosewood fretboard comes in at 7.25-inch with 20 jumbo frets. The body also sports a Badass II high-mass bridge for super sustain and a tone that cuts-through. Other features include vintage 70s-style tuning keys, Dunlop strap locks and a bone nut.
