Supro amplifiers has introduced the new 1×8″ Blues King 8 to its amplifier range. A modern iteration of the amps that started it all back in 1950s Chicago, the Blues King 8 was redeveloped from scratch to celebrate the legendary headroom that’s come to define Supro’s sound.

The new amp includes a genuine Class-A all-tube signal path, a custom eight inch speaker and traditional, vintage-style poplar cabinetry. The Blues King’s front panel features Volume, Tone and Master Volume controls, alongside a Boost switch which is also footswitchable. This new amp also features a line output, allowing it to double as an outboard tube distortion that’s able to feed an additional another amplifier or even a DAW.

Here’s a breakdown of the features included:

• 1-watt 1×8” tube combo
• Footswitchable boost
• ¼” line out
• Class-A tube power amp
• Custom Supro BK8 speaker
• 1x 12AX7 preamp tube
• 1x 12AU7 power tube
• Footswitch and nylon cover also available

The Blues King 8 amplifier retails at $299 USD. For more information visit suprousa.com.
